He left straight after 2018. He’s very good tbf.

His great grand uncle(I think) is a sort of mythical figure in Limerick hurling. I’m sure a few will have heard of him on here.

Often mentioned as potentially the best Limerick hurler of his generation but had to leave aged 19/20 to America. He missed out on a few all irelands by all accounts. I don’t think there’s any record of him hurling in America.

Yeah, I was at every 20s Championship game and I still think he’ll make it. He does the basics really well, there’s a reason he was called up to the seniors by Kiely and others weren’t.

I still think he might be a corner-back at the very highest level, I’d fancy him to mark anyone.

Good game. We were overplaying the ball in the middle and gave it away too easy. Better in second half when we got a few more balls into SOB. Barry’s short puckouts are terrifying. Mike junior missed a few frees in second half all on the right side. The one he missed after the goal was a killer.

Pretty much how I saw it. SOB is unreal. You can’t play him from the back and you can’t play him from the front. Mike junior is a lovely striker of the ball. surprised he missed those last few frees. A fine player but he doesn’t seem to take the ball on in general play.

No sign of your green tackies by the way.
