Pace running the other way is the problem though!
Twas a serious score. Mark Foley likened it to Careyās point in 96 on the commentary.

Coughlan isnāt slow at full speed, he has a monster stride and when he opens up he can glide past lads.
Itās his reactions and his change of direction /turning that are very slow. I would have questions over whether heāll be able to overcome this to hurl Senior for a sustained period to be honest. I hope Iām wrong.
Quilty had a poor game last night but itās the only poor display Iāve seen from him in years. Heās an excellent prospect, great bit of stuff. Perhaps he was unwell or something as he just wasnāt himself at all and looked spent 10 minutes into the second half and heās never like that.
A Munster U20 Final made without Cathal OāNeill, Mike Keane, Ronan Lyons, Diarmuid Hegarty, Paddy OāDonovan and Liam Lynch is good going. All probable starters.
You could have potentially have been looking at this
- Conor Hanley-Clarke
- Fergal OāConnor
- Mike Keane
- Chris Thomas
- Ethan Hurley
- Jimmy Quilty
- Colin Coughlan
- Eddie Stokes
- Cathal OāNeill
- Diarmuid Hegarty
- Aidan OāConnor
- Shane OāBrien
- Paddy OāDonovan
- Liam Lynch
- Adam English
Ronan Lyons
Evan OāLeary
Cian Scully
Joe Sweeney
Brian OāMeara
John Kirby
Patrick Kirby
Donncha OāDalaigh
A nice crop in fairness
He picked up a shoulder injury at work yesterday.
Time to quit the job
Ethan Hurley is soon forgotten.
Thatād be some team, in fairness.
I know they lost that minor semi-final poorly enough in 2019 but the players have continued to develop, the vast majority have stayed involved. Young Casey is the only one that seems to have gone off the radar, Murrihy didnāt make the panel either.
The likes of Chris Thomas & Donnacha werenāt involved at all at underage really. Jimmy & Eddie Stokes have improved immeasurably tbh, as have the likes of OāDonovan. And CON, English, AOC have continued to be really standout players.
My understanding is that Kilkenny have lost 2 or 3 of the best players from the equivalent team which must be a big blow.
Following a toss, This years Munster Under 20 Hurling Final between Tipperary and Limerick will take place in The Gaelic Grounds next Wednesday May 4th at 7.30pm
We didnt even let Tpp win a coin toss
Where is Cian OāDonovan?
He was on the bench yesterday.
Heās tidy enough but probably a bit down the pecking order tbh. Iād have Reale and OāMeara over him.
Heās a good prospect
PeiladĆ³irĆ Luimneach are 5/2 to overturn Clare at the weekend. I think itās a tad generous.
Is there a chance they can, as Bertie once said, upset the appletart ?
It would be quite a surprise
Itās a great price , even when Limerick were near the basement of Div 4 there would rarely be more than a couple of points in these games. You might get Lmk +3 in spots even?
The coin had PJās head on both sides.
The tipp captain inspected it and went for tails.
Cian Lynch done for the season. Advantage Waterford/Galway.
Did he rip it off the bone
No.
