Outside of county players, Sam Cronolly of Bruree is probably the standout player in the Intermediate Championship to date. Racking us massive scores every game, and a serious ballwinner too. Really impressive.

D/B need to beat Stakers (by a lot to boost scoring difference if needed) and hope Crecora beat Glantine or else Glantine win and put a good dent on Crecoraâs scoring difference. D/B drew with Crecora so it goes on scoring difference and not H2H.

Claughaun vs Monagea
Winner of C/B and Killeedy will top the group.
If Kileedy and Claughaun won then Claughaun would go into 2nd at the expense of C/B.
A draw between C/B and Killeedy and a win for Claughaun would see it go to scoring difference.
Monagea out of the running I think based on scoring difference.

Doon vs Feenagh Kilmeedy
Mungret vs St Kierans
Ballybrown vs Askeaton
St Kierans are qualified.
Winner of Doon and F/K goes through in the other spot. F/K have the H2H on Mungret in the event Doon and F/K ended a draw and Mungret beat St Kierans.

Patrickswell vs Rathkeale
Kilteely Dromkeen vs Tournafulla
Old Christians vs Garryspillane
Patrickswell are qualified.
A win or draw for Tour will see them qualified in 2nd.
If Tour lose and Old Christians win then youâll have 3 teams on 6 points.
If that were to happen
Tour would have beaten Old Christians but lost to Kilteely Dromkeen.
Kilteely Dromkeen would have beaten Tour but lost to Old Christians.
Old Christians would have beaten Kilteely Dromkeen but lost to Tour.

A draw between Killeedy and CTB and a Claughaun win would see Claughaun qualify on head to head over CTB as both would have 7 points and Claughaun have beaten them earlier.

Cappamore v Knockainey didnât recieve much comment on here but there were five red cards shown by the ref from the Croom club. Three of these went to the winners, including one in the opening minute. Knockainey would have been 13 v 15 but after their goal there was retaliation and this made it 13 v 14. Bizarre.

Still their best player but not been as dominant as he can be. Missed three or four frees yesterday too.
To be honest I think that ship has sailed for him at intercounty level.

Creamer was one, havenât heard the others - apart from two young lads as water boys hilariously enough and very on-brand for said ref.

He was definitely the ref for that game anyway. Youâd wonder if he was thinking of bringing extra security to the host ground.
One of these refs who can get proper thick with players when they give him some guff. Most refs just give a yellow and say any more and youâre off.
Saw him send off a player in a match a few years back. Theyâd a blazing row in the middle of the field for a minute disputing the first yellow before he eventually brandished a second one. Comical.
