Limerick GAA 2023 - League champions means nothing now 🐐

First county title victory in 37 years, match next weekend.

Munster is a bonus, it’s all about winning the county. It’d be a shame not to celebrate it properly.

This hasnt aged well

I think Ballygunner will probably edge NAP. Some outfit

I think so too… It should be a cracking game if the weather holds up.

I hope it does and everyone has a good day regardless

I don’t believe they are true at all but it would be no harm imo if it happened right now as hurling is on a crest of a wave and there’s plenty of wealthy folks who’d get involved and the county should be trying to replicate Tyrone with their supporters clubs etc etc.

I know there’s plans for the horses but I’ve no idea what he’ll do with the gaa but if he does move on or pull out let’s hope it’s not when we are at a low ebb or it would be much more difficult.

Nothing lasts forever.

JP only arrived in 2018, he’d hardly leave already.

JP will sign off with a stunning redevelopment of the TUSGG and a first class brand new Centre of Excellence. That will be his parting gift.

I’d love it if he let the Grounds on the ennis road there as a sort of a pairc ui rinn/ parnell park type situation and built a new stadium out by the old horse track or some other place around the City

Public vote. Assuming those from the Balbec were on it in force.

Will the big 4 in Limerick shortly become a big 2 of Doon and Na Pairsaigh?

We’ll surely drop off a bit with retirements. Kyledimo will take our place. Doon will continue to be Doon.

Centre back was a massive loss for Kilmalock Ciaran O’Connor. Excellent player.

Ye had a great run at it.

Someone needs to pick up the phone to Tony Considine now.

Pierce Connery will be there next year too. Another potentially top class forward.

Gavin & Paudie are still going fairly strong, shouldn’t be allowed retire.
