Ya, that worked well with the u19s…
The optimum date for a County Under 21 Hurling Final is the Sunday closest to December 22nd.
If you know Gatydoolis school, head towards Barna on that road about another minute and the pitch is on the right
Pitch is a couple of fields in from the road.
If you know the parish church by sarsfields rock, go back towards garrydoolis and the entrance is on your left.
How many clubs like Knockane are there operating in Limerick?
- no underage
- adult / junior only
There’d be a handful of very small clubs. Camogue Rovers, Abbey Sarsfields.
Knockane is the smallest club in Limerick membership wise afaik.
It’s an admiral struggle to keep those shows on the road
Are Abbey Sars fielding a Junior team in the City?
Ballinacurra Gaels?
Camogue Rovers and Knockane only others I can think of.
Fedamore field no underage team on their own (amalgamated with Ballybricken) and are operating at Junior B
Some fall from grace for club with the tradition of Fedamore.
Abbey Sarsfields enter a team every year and then they pull out.
Ballinacurra fielded a Junior B football team this year.
What would the population of Fedamore be? We played them in the Junior B this morning, and we were comfortably better than them and it’s not like we have a sensational Junior B team; we’re solid enough. I was talking to someone from Fedamore who said that a lot of their players wouldn’t actually be Fedamore natives.
Goal from the big man, Mike Mac.
Penalty converted by Robbie Bourke, 1 in it. Nothing from play for Adare yet, but sliced through NCW that time.
Adare doing very well to still be in this N21 Tailback Derby at half time. Newcastle have been very wasteful, even if they look the more purposeful side. I’ve counted at least 7 wides so far. Adare have been very shot shy in comparison.
Cian Sheehan has been very busy linking play for NCW, Emmet Rigter has lorded it and midfield with two good points, the first of which a delightful effort with the outside of the left boot. Corbett sitting deeper in front of the centre back James Kelly. Mike Mac got a touch for the goal, but Alfred in goals for Adare should have taken man, ball and all. It really was a soft one to concede. Adare look disjointed going forward. Nothing is sticking inside with Willie Griffin or Mike Lyons. They’re out of it at midfield and Paul Maher has been unusually subdued. Robbie Bourke stuck his penalty away well, low to the left of the keeper, after Mark Connolly had been fouled.
With the breeze to at their backs in the second half, the Maiguesiders will be very happy at being only a point down. In truth NCW should be about 6 up.
Don’t let the Croom lads hear your refer to Adare as the Maiguesiders
Good score by Willie there for Adare. First score of second half took 13 mins to arrive.
1-3 apiece.
Fantastic catch and mark by the ever golden Mike Mac. He taps over the resultant free to put the magpies back into the lead.
Goal Shane O’Connor; 2-3 to 1-4, 9 to go.
Massive score in a lowscoring game. NCW have wasted a lot of ball.
Goal for Ath Dara!
Willie Griffin ghosts past James Kelly like he wasn’t there. Delivers a high ball to the back post where Shane O’Connor gleefully punches home.
2-3 to 1-4.
The upset is on.
Thomas Quilligan free for NCW.
Level at 1-6 to 2-3.
Two mins normal time left.
