Points from Corbett, Thomas Quilligan and a monster effort from Mike Mac has put NCW in the driving seat. A Robbie Bourke free has kept Adare in it but NCW look the fitter and all round better side here. The extra man told also in that spell, although Cian Sparling is back on for Adare now.
Quilligan has been very influential since he came on the pitch. Beautiful left peg on him.

There’s too much thought to be put into such situations. But I agree the whole thing is ridiculous. You can’t have a situation where extra-time is deemed a new game if you have a red card, but the same game if you have a black card.
It’s the inconsistencies that would drive you fucking mad.

The point he scored late in the second half from out near the far side stand was top class. I played Junior hurling against him around 2006 when he was a little leaner. He must be close to 40 odd now.
