I wouldnāt be so sure.
Correct.
The actual best hurler in the country across the Championship so far has no chance of getting it because, despite two exceptional performances and another very good one yesterday, it doesnāt seem to get any acknowledgement in the media (or even by his own supporters). And this is despite scoring a few from play and directly laying on a huge amount of scores.
Now DOD might not play at quite the same level for the rest of Championship but heās been unbelievably consistent so far, at a very high level.
The Dow seemed to think DOD may have mishit his delivery into Gillane for the 3rd goal. I donāt think so. To me he intended to hit it exactly how it travelled with Gillane as the target. It was the most perfect edge of the square delivery into Gillane as youāll see
I might get ate for this now but a few of his deliveries have been miles off. However no one is perfect and I agree that he has been excellent overall.
Iām 100% sure he meant it, you knew it was going to be a goal the minute he got on it.
He had one really bad one right down the middle. But then, he tries way more deliveries than most of our players so heās always going to have a few dodgy ones. Yesterday was the weakest of his three performances but still probably our best player.
Iād say he was fairly bewildered yesterday when he thought he was being subbed off.
He was fuming
Iād have said Hegarty or Hannon myself but I wouldnāt quibble over it at all.
Thought hegarty was outstanding yday, Iād have given him motm
Hego was immense in the second half, top top class, but I thought he did very little in the first half.
Hannon was alright in the first half but didnāt get on enough ball, and was solid in the second half with an inspirational score but I thought he was better the last two days also.
Hego put himself about first half but it wasnāt sticking. DOD has been excellent all three games. I thought he was MOTM v Waterford.
The jobsworths will dish out a fine for that. Himself and WOD were wearing the wrong numbers.
Surprising to see such a āmistakeā made.
Very surprising
So was I and everyone around me.
A genuine source in Limerick was telling me that one of the panel was fighting a bouncer outside Nancyās last night. And lads were questioning the drama of a night out in Limerick!
You know that started with a ādonāt you know who I amā?
The only surprise here is that it didnāt happen outside one of the 47 Establishments called Flannerys.
A genuine source in Limerick was telling me that one of the panel was fighting a bouncer outside Nancyās last night. And lads were questioning the drama of a night out in Limerick!
Is this the usual āmisunderstoodā individual?
