Maybe Waterford need a new business model? Player hubris may also need to be checked and a few lads should get more involved on the fundraising frontā¦ The landscape has moved but little counties like Waterford, Tipp and to a lesser degree Cork, donāt want to move with the timesā¦Has any county done 3 in a row and still showed profit prior to Limerick?

What those looking at us with envy donāt realise is JPs sponsorship is on a par with most counties and significantly behind behemoths such as Dublin and Kerry, as @Thomas_Brady rightly points out other counties need to get their funding models in place, the likes of the Dow going off to NY fundraising etc, he has done his county some service.

The Dow should win Limerick person of the year this year without much contest. Tho heās gone, he still epitomises everything great about the current squadā¦ The greater good comes first.

The smaller counties like Tipp could do with more of their supporters boosting their own gate receipts instead of heading up to Dublin to watch Limerick and take photos of Henry Shefflin, imo.

Whatever happened to the plan to sell Waterford to the Saudis?
Chairman is going to try convince him come on board from August onwards, or earlier if the Minors donāt progress past Munster. James Hall could manage trainings through the County League in the earlier part of the year while Evan is away with minors. Iām hoping heāll have a sense of unfinished business with the lads. Heās a 100% hurling man, money was very much a secondary thought with him.
