Limerick GAA 2023 - League champions means nothing now 🐐

Ridiculous free against NCW

Twas soft, Walsh came down over his own man

KOR by one, 2-6 to 1-8

It certainly wasn’t a foul by Sheehan. Some athleticism by Walsh but he toppled over Moran.

I’d say it was for a mark but Tommy actually lost the ball.

That was a tough one to take for the townies

Great to be getting a bit of tackling work in pre-Christmas

I’d worry for anyone walking the streets of Limerick this Christmas.

Why are they not salting the footpaths?

The rest of the clowns out running the bollox off themselves in sub zero temperatures with weeks and our lads having an oul game of Shawn Michaels v Razor Ramone Summerslam 1995 for the Intercontinental title. You couldn’t make it up.

Lovely to see the four time All Ireland winning captain with his arm around the prodigal son.

We just keep moving the bar higher and higher and higher.

Jiu-jitsu is definitely more relevant to the modern game than running. If teams aren’t practicing their jiu-jitsu early in the season they may as well forget about it.

The macnas heads will be furiously googling ju-jitsu tonight

A Limerick hurling guide to jiu-jitsu will be available in the shops later this week for the sheep to buy. There’ll be loads of pictures in it as well as a poem by Deccie. 100 quid, a real Christmas stocking choker.

There’s surely some lad living around Gort that could help them out ffs

I think Gillane is after bulking up even more.

County Convention night in The Woodlands.

Outgoing Chairman John Cregan received a standing ovation from the room. Safe to say his legacy is assured.

Seamus McNamara (Fr Casey’s) elected new Chairman. He beat Seamus Twomey (Granagh Ballingarry) 134 votes to 76 votes in the ballot of clubs & delegates.

Frank Reidy (Feohanagh Castlemahon) elected Vice-Chairman. He received 110 votes, winning out over Ballybrown’s Pat Davoren (99 votes) and Kildimo-Pallaskenry’s Emmet O’Brien (15 votes).

Others elected on the night were Mary Hassett (Ahane) to Vice Secretary, Gerry Phillips (Monagea) to Vice Treasurer, and Eamon Phelan (St Patrick’s) to PRO.

Lol. Does he get the hint yet I wonder.

Delighted to see Gerry Phillips still firmly attached to the teet

I have time for Emmet, but clearly the clubs of county Limerick do not.
