In fairness, it was probably a rush of blood to the head (no pun intended) alright.
Cathal Barrett was referred to above, who had his own run ins with the law (I think, but am open to correction, was the thing about hitting his girlfriend actually reported wrong, in that it was his brother who did that? Regardless, nobody is gonna stand by either). He was taken off panel, went off the drink and was rehabilitated back into the fold.
Iād imagine in a year or two, that Limerick lad will be back on panel if heās good enough
