Limerick GAA 2023 - League champions means nothing now 🐐

Somehow the open stand is warmer so long as the weather is okay

I think most people are aware of Hannon injury. I am sure they are aware of Dowling also. I can keep it to telegram in the future though my man.

I’d say it will fall a bit short of 20k but would be great if not. There are around 4k seats in the Mackey allocated to season ticket holders, so other advance sales are not as high as it might seem.

Hannon yes. Dowling no. FFS loose lips and all that.

If Dowling is back we could lose hegarty. That definitely isn’t happening I’d say.

Hannon was racing over the weekend he’s hardly that bad?

Dowling won’t be involved outfield is my understanding.

Mike Casey is back or least very close to being back available as well. He could do with some luck.

Think peter Casey had rolled his ankle a few weeks ago as well so it’ll be interesting to see how he goes this weekend as he doesn’t have that much done surely.

HIs puckouts were laser like accurate for Na P Intermediates last season.

If he was that good, then its absolutely baffling how he was deemed not good enough to start for the Na Piarsaigh seniors vs Ballygunner last year.

For one who has ‘sources’ in every club in the land I’m very surprised you don’t know the reason for that.

He was a rare thing, stout as a Dowling,
So stout a breath of wind won’t blow him away,
He was a forward, and he was running hard,
He said, go on sure I can stand in goals and play,
And you wouldn’t want me any other way

The keepers uncle was a selector I think but I’m fairly sure Dowling wouldn’t commit and I’m not even sure he’s committed this year to the nap senior team. He’s still with Rte so I’d presume he’d have to pack that in if he was coming back for Limerick.

The ‘reason’ must be fairly callow as it was a rookie who was starting ahead of him.

A pity for Na Piarsaigh as they had Ballygunner on the stretch in the first half and had a right chance of putting them away.

Have the sisters of poor clares named their 15 victims yet?
