Weâll always have his lob against Cork.
Thanks for your services Pat, shame it ended like this.
As the sun sets on one Doon man, time for another one to step out of the shadowsâŚ
Is it the same lad? Ah he was always referred affectionately here by his nickname by @thelimericks but now that heâs out of favour the affectionate nickname is gone. Thatâs bidness I spose
Whether it was for drinking or fighting, I wonder if it was one of the big boys would he have been dropped so fast?
Iâm surprised a lawman like yourself hasnât been kept abreast of the update in that case
Robert Byrne decides to go out in Limerick after a game⌠Itâs bad enough this guy has charges of his own hanging over him ⌠he goes mouthing off to Ryan in a pub, who proceeds to put him back in his box, and Byrne then rings the guards âŚ
At least he didnât glass someone.
Throwing a nut is the act of a scumbag anyway
I can see why heâs called Gooch anyway, state of him.
The Doon lads should be more concerned with shitting themselves in the club championship every year and less concerned with hating Tipp
Thatâs it really. It sounds as if there wasnât too much to incident, a bit of a scuffule on a night out; not pretty, but it happens. However, the minute you actually throw a punch or whatever, you can land yourself in trouble and Simon should know better.
When youâre in the media spotlight, it gets ramped up to the nth degree but they know that, no matter the provocation, you simply canât react in those situations and, as balbec says, the people he was out with need to defuse that situation.
Byrne has a nice shiner, Simon has a few bruises himself, theyâll both live Iâm sure. But if he wasnât supposed to be out, regardless of his personal circumstances, Kiely doesnât have much choice. Thatâs a costly rush of blood to the head though.
Its gas that being out for a few drinks is seen as a bigger issue than assaulting someone for John Kiely
Boys will be boys⌠Just unfortunate one lad went running to the guards after giving it big licks first
These top players are always going to attract attention from lesser known and less successful players.
You have to maintain your discipline though and canât react, no matter how much you are provoked. A heavy price paid.
Byrne ainât no angel from what I hear.
Well, Kiely isnât a judge and he wasnât present at the occasion, so it would be remiss of him to get involved in that without all the facts. All he can do is enforce the internal rules he has set.
If Simon did assault someone, he will be charged with such, and the law will deal with it. But, realistically, it sounds like it wonât go much further because there wasnât much in it. These kind of incidents happen in every town across Ireland every weekend and donât really go anywhere. Itâs not good; some people probably shouldnât drink at all if they canât handle it and two intercounty hurlers should know better to be honest. Itâs done now anyway and Simon has to take his punishment as it comes.
Pat Ryan Simon really needs to pull his socks up!
Its amazing you had to ladybird that for him.
âLookââŚ
Awwww you poor misfortune.
The nugget on him
