Gleeson hit a sideline and i was in direct line with him and the posts. It was absolutely beautiful
It actually moved just before he hit it aswell. Fell off the tuft of grass and he still put it over. Class.

The ref was a great man for giving a handy free after he missed an actual one.
We got a very handy one for over carrying after Mul was mauled in the goals and the crowd was roaring for a free (would have been a free elsewhere on the field but you wouldn’t get a penalty for it)
He was open to persuasion by the crowd also.
Poor auld Hego will never get a free again. The yellow didn’t slow him down though, he was swinging out of lads all over the field

I wouldn’t have any time for them after giving Limerick such a handy warm up last week. By rights Limerick should have been coming into last night tired and sore.

I thought hegarty was phenomenal after Lynch went off, he really stepped up. A little bit quieter second half but still great.
