It was nice to see Emmet Rigter amongst the goals. The one bright light for the footballers.
The lad is a phenomenal athlete for his age. I think it is a pity we arenāt getting the young lads from Mungret or Abbeyfeale to play but thatās their choice. We would have a brighter future if those lads would commit. By all accounts a fair few were asked.
Nonetheless. Rigter is the best Limerick have produced in years. Apart from that, who is under the age of 25? Woulfe, Ahern, Coleman, Nix. Thatās it really

Great win for the footballers, they needed that one. Itās been a tough year so far; good to see one of the young lads get the two goals too. Rigter is a good yoke.
Whatās clear after the weekend is Cork are the form team in Ireland - thatās an enormous score again

Itās hard to see teams live with them at the moment. In the first half they were scoring with nearly every opportunity running the Tipp backs off the park. Barrett is making them tick at 11 and they have found pace strength and finishing ability in Connolly and Hayes inside.
Tipps late goal against waterford and the umpires antics yesterday has opened the door for them.
The Downeys look to have solved 3 and 6 although I think both are susceptible to pace. Youād have to imagine Kinnerk and Kiely will need to tweak our team to take them on in croker if we get there.

They will need to keep it up. Their scoring difference including yesterday is +15. They conceded 30+ points in each of their first three matches and even Tipp managed 1-21.
What have they played yet really though? Iād hold off til they meet a Leinster team.
Iād love to play Cork again, not in the final though I couldnāt be dealing with the ticket situation.
