Limerick GAA 2024-25

Doon would have beaten Ballygunner if they had a proper break last year.

John has stepped away for the year.

Patrick is playing; was quiet last night but racked up huge scores from play last year and has been good early this year. He’s very lively, skilful, but he’s very light.

Ballygunnar have won five and Waterford are at nothing. The two are not correlated. Inversely correlated if anything.

Portumna won a hape of all Ireland’s while Galway were struggling.

You’d think that club teams like Na Piarsaigh, Patrickswell and Killmallock with several multi All Ireland medalists within their ranks would have a better idea as to how to break down Ballygunner than half heartedly trying to start a row.

Did Oisin get many from play?

Big win for ABK, puts a lot of pressure on Tour.

Modern day player want the bank holiday off possibly going to festival etcs

He got a good few @TreatyStones was marking the scores he will know better.

Tour had three lads on him at one stage in the second half and while it probably kept him quiet for that stretch our half back line cleaned up and we tacked on a nice few scores.

Eoghan Collins from Tour got 2-3 I’d say from play if not more. Their inside line had us in trouble but they couldn’t get the supply.

Tour were better natural hurlers probably but did not look remotely fit. A lot of lads carrying baggage.

Goals papered over a lot of cracks for Tour. We are nowhere near the finished article but great to dig out the win and will hopefully kick them on a notch. They were unlucky a few times last year when in good positions and it killed the season

He’s only a young fella, Collins, isn’t he? Was he on the 20s this year? Forgot about him actually, he’s lively enough.

Ya someone said he was on it this year or last. Lovely wrists. A shade small but hard to stop

They are usually poor first day out.

We played a sweeper last night. Never saw the like of it.

Watched some of the club championship thus credit all involved but it’s like going through the motions the sooner the better groups are reduced to four the better like most counties the standard isn’t eye catching either

Chanley’s puck outs were immaculate last night.

The best portly keeper in the county

Eoghan Collins, i think i may have misallocated him the 2nd goal, so i think he ended with 2-3 from play plus 3 deadballs. Very sharp and strong, but looked to be carrying a bit.

Were you ashamed? Proper hurling teams don’t play sweepers

No club championship’s should be groups of 6 in my opinion.

What age is he now? Thought he was going to be next Peter Casey at one point.
