Was he competing in the long puck the last few years?

He won it

Whacktics it is so.

I believe he doesn’t always have to hit it that hard

It must be very exiting for Limerick football Mungret are breaking through finally.

Fr Casey’s, Mungret, monaleen and Newcastle have the potential to be big clubs that can produce lots of good payers.

The better Mungret can do, realistically the better it is for Limerick football. Yes their numbers are huge but they are still producing very talented footballers relative to the average Limerick prospect over the past while. Monaleen too.

Dingle are 2nd favourites for the AI but whoever wins on Sunday I think will compete well with them

ABK up 4 at half time in intermediate football

Galbally conceded at the end I believe?

ABK clung on to win by one. A great game for the neutral i would imagine but I didn’t enjoy it at all :joy:

Nice touch for the footballers to get a civic reception following their Taltainn Cup final appearance.

@gilgamboa work away.

You couldn’t fucking make it up :rofl::rofl:

How do you do the multi quote again?

@backinatracksuit you will have to go into this for a look

He’d hardly equate cork hurling with Limerick football would he?

Good fuck, he would

@TreatyStones you lured him in beautifully here

It was very pleasing to attend a national final with the footballers this year, the only one we’ve gotten over the past two years. Jimmy and his army are a credit to their county.

Sorry what am I saying, the footballers also had their league final this year too.

Nobody would deny them their reception,

Good luck to them :clap::clap:

Very undeserving winner of young hurler of the year in my opinion. Very unlikeable person always seems full of himself

Go easy ffs he’s only a kid

Tipp man here. I wasn’t wanting McCarthy to start the final - Didn’t have a good season from playup to then, had two red cards and his placed ball shooting evened out to not be a stand-out at it.

I don’t see a huge ceiling for him long-term but I think his final display probably made him an easy choice to win YHOTY.

I think Robert Doyle would’ve been more justified overall though - But as we know, if you aren’t a ‘scorer’ these things don’t favour you.
