Limerick GAA 2024-25

It’s not a personality award. I hope you had the same energy with Kyle getting an all star

Nonsense

One of our all Ireland winners is hurling club with him now and said he’s a really nice lad.

He had a few difficult months to start out the championship, took massive balls to perform like he did in the final with all the whispering that was going on
Obviously I wasn’t happy with the result but I was happy for him

Exactly. Bitta human kindness goes a long way.

Amazing that shelly and Ormond didn’t even start the championship and now end up with all stars.
Some turnaround

Would agree with you on Doyle, felt he had a great year but again very hard for defensive players to win these types of awards. In saying that I feel Sam O’Farrell was harshly overlooked for a nomination

No I agree, I don’t feel he should’ve gotten one that year in particular and arguably should not have been playing but that’s the way it is. These things don’t often go the way they should so we just move on with it. Never said Darragh had a bad year, just feel that others performed better in the tipp team even. Robert Doyle and Sam O’Farrell both had more consistent years but look everyone has their opinion and I respect that

19 yr old corner-forwards don’t tend to go that well if they’re of the wallflower disposition

Wouldn’t say he’s too full of himself either. A few people have noted that he’s got tendencies that would suggest he’s somewhat on the spectrum or has OCD, but I don’t really see that. I think he said he copied his brother for the free taking technique. Spoke well tonight in fairness.

He has a bit of cut to him, but twould be needed. The amateur psychiatrists making diagnoses on the basis of a fiddly free-taking technique should probably wind their necks in

Always sad to see lads turn mavericks into robots

You are at nothing without the cut.

Gillane is the same always walking the tight rope. He’s gotten smarter about not getting caught doing silly things as he has matured.

I’m sure McCarthy will be the same

After the sending off’s and the talk about Oisin replacing him he gave an outstanding final performance ( was MOTM ).

His U20 final performance summed his work ethic and attitude up perfectly too. He’s a great bit of stuff imo

Liberties win the Junior C Football.

Knockainey beat Knockane after ET in the Junior B.

Ahane beat Casey’s in the Premier Junior.

NCW camogie scored a last-minute goal to bring the Barrs to ET, then the Barrs needed a last-minute free to bring it to a 2nd period of ET but the Barrs win by 2 in the end- NCW goal disallowed for a square ball in the 2nd ET.

The Carlow flags are flying around Askeaton. The amalgamation has really captured the imagination of the parishes

Big win for Ahane today, they seem a club on the up and will probably be comfortable enough at intermediate level from the bit I saw of them.

Also a proud day for the dearly departed @SHANNONSIDER as Camogue Rovers claim their first ever county title.
