Limerick GAA 2026. The GOAT's?

What? Saying a player played well in terrible conditions, or you getting upset over someone Saying it?

Dumb post.

It really was, but at least he didn’t start telling us about his U14 medal collection this time round

The club would have had to agree to it, and it was probably a case of the senior management picking their panel and the intermediates having to work with what was left.

Another casualty of EP in all likelihood really.

I remember plenty of lads missing championship for Oxygen back in the day.

Tis amazing what lads can omit to suit their narrative.

No issue at all with lads going to EP.

But if it means 90% of championship games go ahead on a Thursday evening at half 6 and has a direct impact on the competitiveness of a championship, they may aswell just write it off as a free weekend.

That’s what some counties are doing.
Limerick championship structure doesn’t really allow for it

Kilkenny played championship on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week

Few does. Laois wedge games in either side. I’d hate to be a team out next weekend in the Laois Hurling Championship. Because almost every club will have at least half a dozen lads in there for 4 days. Some will put bans in place, other stooks will fix training for Sunday morning or Monday evening (that’s a sure fire way of a muscle injury). But everyone just has to accept it is what it is and get on with it.

Tis hard when you’re usually making all Ireland finals to leave out EP weekend.

Waterford could have had 10 EPs

The Well are six up. Mungret are four up. Bruff and Athlacca are level.

Young Declan Hannon is back for Adare

Draw game at half time in Premier Intermediate Hurling.

Croagh/Kilfinny 1-9 Blackrock 0-12.

Rockies had a light breeze in first half. Jimmy Quilty to the fore in last 15 mins. Paudie Leahy with some great points for them. Cian O’Carroll with a bullet goal for Croagh after a good Jack Lenihan knock down. Seamus Hickey should have had a second Croagh goal but pulled a ground stroke wide.

Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship

Croagh/Kilfinny 2-16 Blackrock 1-19

Full time. A mad last 10 minutes. Both teams will feel they left it behind them.
