Iād say 7 of that starting team have sons who have played senior for Limerick.
Another 3 starters & 3 subs had sons that played minor/20s/21s (Carmody may even have been on a senior panel briefly).

Mark Carmody played senior alright and has a Munster medal as a panellist in 2013.
Anthony Riordanās and Gary Kirbyās sons played underage, but canāt think of the other starter.
Of the subs, Kevin Howard, Killian Quaid and Cian Magner Flynn have all worn the green.
Quaid, Finn, OāRiordan, Houlihan, Hegarty, Carmody, Kirby, Nash, OāConnor, Fitzgibbon.
Barry Nash is Mikeās son, though, and he wasnāt on that panel.
I thought Shaughs older brother played in ā92?
David? Played in the U21 Munster Final the following year alright along with a certain John Kiely.
Youāre right of course.
Was the other brother Ger any good?
Brian
Houla or Shaughs? Houla was ok, tough. Not the paciest but a good lad.
Thought it was Ger Shaughnessy
David, Brian and Andrew
Coming back to this, is it taking low ball or getting out in front to take the low ball? Heās probably used to being physically dominant underage, I think he struggles a small bit at this level when heās not. Mark fitz was out first and cleanly won the first three or four balls delivered to SOB in the first quarter of the Waterford game. To be fair Fitz is a class player, if not a natural full back. When OāBrien starts putting it all together heās going to do wreck, itās just a matter of time. From a limerick point of view we havenāt had a player of that quality on bench to come on in a good few years (Dowling) and itās huge to have because the cork subs are stacked.
I think Peter Casey has always been an absolute weapon off the bench - granted heās deserving of a first 15 place.
Maybe it not his performances hes being dropped but attitude?
Thereās a fair chance that SOB does start tomorrow but it definitely wonāt be for Peter Casey, theyāre not going for the same position. Leaving Casey off would be madness. And if he is out, it would almost certainly be Reidy to start.
Is there an injury doubt?
I donāt think itās an injury but if he did score 1-9 or whatever last weekend, he probably couldnāt have done much more (although itās not his scoring ability that had him off the team in the first place).
Has Kiely named a dummy team in a Munster
Final?
I guess late fitness could be at play too
He brought in Mul and Reidy before as late changes in one of the Clare finals.
