Even when youâre nice youâre poisonous.
Another trip to Mullingar . Real glamour .
With the new format this year youâd have to assume winning the provinacial final will be a genuine advantage. Thereâll be nothing but good teams left in the QFs this year.
Iâd love a crack of galway in the all ireland semi final.
Christ I really dislike that place. Horrible drive there too.
How long of a wait between Munster final and all Ireland semi
1st July - 28th July.
4 weeks
Huh? Iâm Italian mate
Thatâs perfect. The old 6 weeks was tough that one time
Plenty time for us to get the suits fitted and write a few songs
A cunt of a place
Just do a remix of âLimerick youâre a ladyâ
Are the two semi finals on the same weekend/day?
Same weekend
Saturday and Sunday I think
And the team who comes third in the province faced with an awkward away tie in Mullingar etc where the locals donât ever spare the timber, possibility of more injuries and suspensions etc.
We played Westmeath twice away under Teege. Scraped by them the first day only in the last ten mins (there may have been some controversy about a Paul Browne goal) as Adrian Breen came on and scored a late match clinching goal.
The next year (I think) we had a man sent off in the first half (Nash??) but pulled away in the second half after only having a narrow advantage at half time.
Anyone know the gap in weeks between the last group game in Munster and the preliminary quarter?
The gap between the Munster final and All-Ireland quarter final?
The gap between the Munster final and All-Ireland semi final?
Good man.
So,
Three week gap from last group game to preliminary quarter final. Win that and out the next week again in full quarter final.
Two weeks from Munster final to A-I quarter final.
Four weeks from Munster final to semi final.
Seanie OâBrien was sent off in the second match and we were actually losing at half time by a point if I recall correctly. Had the wind in the second half and won by 9 or 10 in the end.
