Thatās a lame retort.up your game kid. This is championship
A game that epitomised 1B. We were still on top for a while after The Dow was sent off, and I remember a speculative ball being sent forward by Offaly into the corner where it dribbled harmlessly over the sideline, much to the dismay of the Biffo full-forward who was in acres of space and let his disapproval be known with an exasperated āJEEEEZUS CHRISTā that was audible to all 2,000 or so people that were present in the 49,000 capacity stadium.
Lost that one by a goal. Fuckin hell, we have endured some awful days against those cunts.
Weāve endured some awful days against all the cunts to be fair kid.
Dodgy, three weeks in a row is grand for these guys, the youngest team in it too, theyāll only be getting going.
This 3 week thing is a bit of a media thing and could effect players heads more than anything. No concrete evidence yet.
āBut but butā¦ Dowling couldnāt possibly play full forward in Kielyās systemā
Even now when everybody is getting on you still manage to make a cunt out of yourself. Well done.
Apparently Dowling is going well and impressing in training. Heāll be rearing for road for Saturday night looking on at the past two games. Iām concerned about this one, I think Waterford showed last week that theyāve good strength in depth and in fact the likes of Coughlan has been upgraded on maybe, Iām concerned theyāre a team we could struggle against.
But then you look at the spirit shown last week and you think, naw fuckit, weāll give plenty of it to any team. Mon Limerick
Weāll see on Sunday what type of role he plays. I doubt itāll be the same role Flanagan plays at 14. Dowling brings other qualities, personally I do think it changes the dynamics of the forwards but we shall see. I hope he does fucking wreck, a class act
Is this Dowlings first Championship appearance this year?
This is do or die for Waterford, lose and theyāre most likely out. That counts for a hell of a lot in hurling, this will be our toughest game yet by far I reckon.
Ya
Safe to say heās hungry then?
Weāve enough riding on it to make that irrelevant. We donāt want to have to be going down to Ennis having to win to stay in the championship. Even if theyāre knocked out of it by then the cunts would be feral below
I wouldnāt get overly caught up on the number on the back of the jersey. In a lot of ways, Dowling is a very similar style of player to Gillane, thought not as nimble on his feet. Might even bring a workrate that surpasses Gillane.
Heāll be chomping at the bit, or chomping on something anyways.
Iād be more afraid of Waterford than Clare, but youāre right, I hope we have enough in it too.
Iāve heard Dowling is ravenous.
I hope we donāt starve him inside there. Feed Dowling and the goals will come.
Can see Dowling doing damage.
Heāll be hurting after watching the last two games. Iām expecting a huge performance from him.
If we improve again from the Cork game as we did vs Tipp, which I expect tbh as that performance last Saturday night will instill massive confidenceā¦heāll surely get a couple of chances to prove his point.
If Waterford push up on the puck outs Iād chance a good few down on top of hego. If they donāt push up and allow quaid hit finn and English we will do untold. Short to hannon or byrnes over the sweepers into Dowling. Goals galore
Theyāll be looking to isolate Devine on Casey and playing off scraps
This is genius by Kiely. Bringing in a player like Dowling is a show of strength and a massive boost. Head scratcher for McGrath too
