Limerick GAA - All-Ireland senior hurling champions 2018

Like playing with a golf ball.

I hate cork it is awful. We need as many games in Croke Park as possible we havenā€™t won a senior game there since 07. The experience will stand to us.

funny I heard it was a double header in Cork for the Hurling quarter finals.

Both quarter finals will be played in Cork on the Sunday.

Kerry and Galway would only bring around 15k to Croke park - While it makes since to try get another game on with them - 95% of the hurling fans - unless itā€™s Galway v Limerick - would fuck off instead of staying on to watch that shite.

Yes, thereā€™s that.

But Iā€™m thinking only in the context of where will give us the best chance of progression. I donā€™t think Galway have played in the new Stade de Frank. Croke Park is almost a home ground for Kilkenny. Both of them much more familiar with Croker than us.

Not played a championship match up there since the deluge of August 2014. :astonished:

Anyway as @iron_mike says, wherever itā€™s on - either we are good enough or we ainā€™tā€¦

Just get through Saturday first anyway.

Bomber Griffin, some man.

Limerickā€™s best performance in years was in that stadium, with 14 men against a woeful cork team though.

Still and all I donā€™t think the others have ever played a big game there, itā€™s aboutgetting a result.

Is it fair to ask, what the fuck was he doing up there??

thatā€™s what I heard as well. It makes more sense than sticking it above in Croke Park with a football match.

will the venue be announced after Saturdayā€™s preliminary match?

Theyā€™ll have to wait for the replay to be over at least id assume

I hope itā€™s Cork. Croke Park would be a stones.

Like @anon26343222 I have a natural disliking of the big smoke and it dislikes me

heā€™s doing a roving report on the state of burnt grass throughout the country

Hopefully itā€™ll be played in Thurles.

If they drag us to Croke Park for another piss take double header (with the hurling crowd having no interest in the football and vice versa) where would they play Clare v Davy as a stand alone fixtureā€¦?

itā€™s a double header in Cork. @anon32894817 would be better off sticking to the horses. He gets it very wrong with his "I heard such and such " about the hurling.

Ennis to bury the nail in the Angry Midgets coffin

How much do you want a bet? Do you really think they wonā€™t show one of the games live? One game is on Saturday and one game on Sunday. If Galway lose both their hurlers and footballers will be Croker on The same day.

Iā€™ll bet you a thread ban from this thread

Galway wonā€™t lose the hurling though!! Although it may be Limericks best chance of beating them if they did!
