I hate cork it is awful. We need as many games in Croke Park as possible we havenāt won a senior game there since 07. The experience will stand to us.
Kerry and Galway would only bring around 15k to Croke park - While it makes since to try get another game on with them - 95% of the hurling fans - unless itās Galway v Limerick - would fuck off instead of staying on to watch that shite.
But Iām thinking only in the context of where will give us the best chance of progression. I donāt think Galway have played in the new Stade de Frank. Croke Park is almost a home ground for Kilkenny. Both of them much more familiar with Croker than us.
Not played a championship match up there since the deluge of August 2014.
Anyway as @iron_mike says, wherever itās on - either we are good enough or we ainātā¦
If they drag us to Croke Park for another piss take double header (with the hurling crowd having no interest in the football and vice versa) where would they play Clare v Davy as a stand alone fixtureā¦?
itās a double header in Cork. @anon32894817 would be better off sticking to the horses. He gets it very wrong with his "I heard such and such " about the hurling.
How much do you want a bet? Do you really think they wonāt show one of the games live? One game is on Saturday and one game on Sunday. If Galway lose both their hurlers and footballers will be Croker on The same day.
