I got a bit carried away and was in an awful heap watching the match. After every game I say it, Morrisseyās are fantastic, keep going up another level. DOD was outstanding.
Box office. Fucking box office. Some gimp from Galway spending his evening on a limerick hurling forum after their footballers bate kerry. he is more concerned with how many limerick lads were at the match
I am done. Have a good evening lads.
Itās been very entertaining tbf. Thereās lads chewing on the phone here after their biggest ever hurling win. At least they didnāt have to leave the house today.
Heās finished his book
Cian lynch was comfortably motm for me. Classy from start to finish.
The 2 points Peter Casey got were just pure class sublime first touch jink and bang over the bar as Cyril would say.
The one where he dummied a handpass and sent two Kilkenny lads for milk was glorious.
Turns, BENG, over de bar, like nuts to a monkey fer a young fella like him in fairness, dats championship Michael.
Just back from Mordor after seeing us beat Kilkenny for the first time in 45 years.
I am exhausted but happy.
I think I met @iron_mike today. Were you in the old stand? I was back slapping an alright sort from Limerick at the end and he goes āIām living in Kilkenny, married to a Kilkenny woman, this is unrealā.
Has to start next day out. The competition in the full forward line is fierce.
Just about to head to the airport for the start of our joliersš. What a feeling to wake up and remember yesterday wasnāt a dreamš.
Peter Casey has to start the next day.
Who you leave out Iāve no idea.
It is a really tough decision. Flanagan is so raw but the potential is there to be anything, he is a huge focal point for ball in also and creates more space than Casey would due to his runs. He also took Cork to the cleaners the last day. He can over thinks it though and he does not have the finishing ability of Casey. Not easy.
In the helter skelter last few mins he was the one lad you wanted on the ball. He just seems to always have so much time on the ball. Two flaking scores.
Cork will suit us and vice versa. Two teams who normally put up big scores.
Those Corrigan Brothers need to be locked up for the next fortnight.
Thatās the thing. I couldnāt drop anyone from that inside line as things stand. Casey took his scores unreal well after coming on but I still donāt think itās enough to dislodge anyone.
A great problem to have
I think Galway have a similar situation with the amount of forwards ye have. A top batch of 8/9 to choose from.
Mulcahy has been outstanding this year delighted for him,he gave a great interview on the radio afterwards came across very well.
