On the topic of GAA family trees it was fantastic to see sons of a couple of former great servants involved with the minor team at the weekend.

You must be joking us, Hickey was woeful in the first half, came into it a bit in the second to be fair to him but still got caught for the goal.
Iād have no issues about them lads being under the age of 23. What difference does it make? They arenāt green either they all have experience now in the championship and are well able for it I think.

Paul is from down the road in Lixnaw, not connected to the Finuge , Galvin;s at all. The Lixnaw gang kick football with Finuge as no football in Lixnaw. A few from Finuge make the opposite journey to Lixnaw to play hurling.
