I still reckon Kyle Hayes would be much better at centre-back, but he’s playing really well in the forwards today. Lovely awareness of space.
But Dublin are just bating the ball down on top of all Limerick’s free men. Tipp didn’t let the Limerick sweeper touch the ball once, they totally dismantled us. The sweeper system is perfect for playing someone like this Dublin team, they don’t seem to know how to work the ball into the forwards at all.
Limerick are playing at a much higher pace too, work rate is just better, skill levels seem to be a lot sharper aswell.
Good first half for us, it will be nice if we can be back in Croke Park on All Ireland hurling final Sunday.
