U21 Hurling:
The U21s qualified for the semi finals of the Mint Catering Premier U21 County Hurling Championship after defeating Adare at a rain sodden Mungret on St Patricks Day by 0-13 to 0-8. Although conditions proved difficult for both sides our lads showed great resolve.
Full match report to follow next week as our U21 news correspondent was in the Aviva for the ‘rugger’ at the weekend and was too shook to send in a report in time for printing.[/quote]

Fine win, sounds like they got some great scores.
Any word on a Galway team for tomorrow?
Is Canning back?
My sources tell me that Canning and the management have had a massive falling out in training during the week and he won’t even be togging out today. Limerick by 8+.
I heard the same
Probably better off without him, as he ends up trying to do too much on his own.
Damien Hayes is currently putting together a fleet of separate cars. (Per club).
How do the Galway team manage with togging out? Do they all arrive togged or do they have a number of different dressing rooms for players from different clubs to use?
Tog out in the local supermacs in whatever town they’re playing in. Individually, in scheduled timeslots.
Historicaly its always been a challenge but there was a fairly advanced brainstorming session done in Phelim Murphys parlour in 1991 with respesentations made from the likes of steeltech sheds etc and Patrick McDonagh won that particular contract.
Who paid for the parlour?
