Limerick GAA - Fuck bogball

Great wrists. Pitch looks immaculate then they show the sideline view. Water break now.

Goal for Doon, Sin e

Second for Purcell. Right place, right time on both occasions.

Fuckacting with short passing.

Doon stepped it up second half.

I’m finding it very hard not to get carried away by Adam English. He is unreal.

Serious work rate… What was Bob Purcell’s final tally?

2-3 maybe? Hit a fair few wides too.

Had this come into Gaa now too?
Water Break after 15 Mins?

Yeah. Shur you’re not allowed water carriers. You wouldn’t want fellas to die of thirst.

Ahh yeah I forgot.

He’s going to be a superb player for us. Paddy O’Donovan will be a great player for Limerick too, but English is a class act. Nice for him to have Cathal O’Neill being the main man a year ahead of him too to take the limelight off him. English could be just as good

Patrickswell vs Ahane is a decent game. 1-9 to 1-8 for the Well.

Ronan Fox probably the best player for Ahane, set up their goal and got a few points aswell. Andrew Shanahan, Dan Minihan, Mark Donnellan all doing well too. Quiet enough games from the likes of Barry & Harnett.

A lot going through Jason Gillane for the Well. Gavin Carey got the goal, big strong young fella, caught the ball clean. John Kirby has probably been their biggest threat, won 3 frees and got a point from play. Again, quiet games from some of their bigger names like Paddy Kirby, Calvin Carroll & Paudie Maher. Calvin did get a nice point alright.

All to play for, even game.

Half time ??

Yeah.

Named centre-forward, but floating around a lot.

He finished up centre-back and was actually much more influential there. Facing the ball suits him a lot more. John Kirby was definitely the best player on the pitch and was really Patrickswell’s only big threat in attack, in all honesty

Patrickswell 1-17 Ahane 1-14 was the final score.

Daniel Minihan was very good for Ahane, went back centre-back in the second half. Adam Murrihy was a big loss for them; he was obviously injured- he was brought on but had to go back off again and would have been one of their main men.

The return of Josh Considine will be a big boost for Patrickswell, but they’ll need more from Calvin Carroll & Paddy Kirby in the semi-final.
