Mungret/St.Pauls 2-8 Blackrock 1-5 HT
Half time. 2-08 to 1-05.
Kilfinane storm back into it with a quick fire 1-01 just before the break. Ruairi O’Shaughnessy ghosted in for the goal. Mungret were rampant up that point.
With a ferocious gale now aiding them Jimmy Quilty’s charges will be confident.

They used to change between Kilfnane and Ardpatrick . Any of the two is better than Blackrock
And yet their leader, Jimmy Quilty, hails from the neigbouring village of Ardpatrick.

Probably worth a couple of points more to be honest.
There was a row and it broke Mungret’s momentun. Quilty and Darragh O’Brien squared up to each other, it has lifted Kilfinane and things subsequently went wrong for Mungret. Botched short puck outs, aimless clearances going out wide etc.
This is still in the melting pot. Cracking atmosphere. No club games should be in LITGG bar county finals or games under lights.
