While our backs are a worry, so are KKā€™s - we can break even in midfield - With Dowling in FF we have a more workman like/mobile half forward line and hopefully Casey and Dempsey can work off Dowlingā€¦ We need to make our chances count and none of this shooting from way out - if we can half our wide tally from the last day we have a chance.

Iā€™d have been a lot more comfortable if English was starting, whatever about Nash. Richie Mac is a talented player but he doesnā€™t have pace at all really. He owes Kiely a big performance, heā€™s put a lot of faith in him.

I would be a lot happier if we went man to man on them tbh. I know Kilkenny have struggled against a sweeper a bit in recent times but we havenā€™t played that system really, and Iā€™m not sure a third midfielder would benefit us more than occupying their entire full-back line which is possibly their weakest line. I just have a fear weā€™ll make heroes of their free man.

If KK goal inside 5 mins then a massacre is on.

If they have scored no goals but have 16pts by ht then an arse opening is very much on.

To be serious or dream a little. LK should have beaten Wx in the league opener but does that matter as Wx obviously improved far better than LK.

If LK win Iā€™ll be impressed & shocked. If they keep it to 5pts then there is something to work on for next year. Was a horrible draw in reality.
