Limerick GAA - it's Box Office - Always Has Been, Always Will Be

Go hard. He needs a wake up call.

Thatā€™s a great turn of phrase. Itā€™s true too, I think Kilkenny are pretty vulnerable right now and arenā€™t too far off our level. Weā€™re probably 2/3 missing players away from the stage where I would go into this with a huge sense of optimism. Most importantly what we still donā€™t have, and havenā€™t had for a long time, is a method to our madness.

But I decided early in the week that, for a change, I will be positive about this game. Fuck the negativity. The reality is Kilkenny are a shadow of what they once were. An injured half back who has been playing full back played at half forward. Two forwards whipped off before half time. The sub goal-keeper thrown on into the forwards with a few minutes to go. If Limerick did any of this it would be labelled a shambles by all and sundry. Fuck the negativity. We can win this. Limerick by 2 (two).

I wouldnā€™t rule out our keeper turning up out the field at some stage :joy:

Iā€™ve had it in for Skehan since my youth mate. He acted the cunt on the sideline during a league game in the Gaelic Grounds, goading the crowd. Fuck it just talking about it, Iā€™m seething here again now. Iā€™ll burst the little bollox.

Weā€™re going to walk all over these English Settler bastards tomorrow.

Though Iā€™m obviously neutral, I very much hate the kk hurlers. Hon the treaty.

Thatā€™s a pretty accurate description of where weā€™re at.

I pray to god we do it though.

Great moments are born from great opportunity. While this isnā€™t the KK of old, theyā€™ll fight tooth and nail. If we bring belief and workrate from no.1 through to 20 we have a chance.

End statement.

He has the physical presence of a child. I canā€™t understand how heā€™s been involved in a county team for the last seven year and he hasnā€™t put on an ounce of muscle. Iā€™d guess he weighs only ten stone.

Iā€™m wondering was it him at all now, it was the 100% spit of him and he had that sort of hangdog look but according to wiki heā€™s only 5ā€™7, this lad was certainly taller than that, I also probably felt he was somebody of more because he was punching well above his weight with the bird.

Our last match winnerā€¦

Class act.

Carried all our hopes on his shoulders during the mid naughties. Electric to watch when he did hit form

Awful burden to carry from such a young age.

Was delighted for him in 07 when he picked up that all star.

Very least he deserved.

If truth is told AOS years in the green of Limerick were a huge underachievement and to be honest it wasnā€™t his fault . He played on average teams who never made the most of his talents . I think he might have won 1 Munster championship game from 2003 - 2009 . A huge pity .
