Gutted with the result…but our lads died with their boots on.

Could not fault any of them…1 puck of a ball in it…look thats sport…KK in Nowlan park was always going to be a huge ask.

Dec Hannon gave an exhibition of centre back play…He was class as was young Peter Casey with 3 points from play.

I’m proud of our lads…thats all you can ask for.

Tiocfaidh ar la.

Bar Finn & Casey the rest were either above average or deplorable.

Below??

Dowling, Lynch, Dempsey not rated.

I told all you cunts Dempsey shouldn’t have been started and I was mocked for it, which really hurt. Can you guys apologize now, please?

You have a plank in your eye about certain things. Like Reid not doing much or Dowling being poor. You do it time and again. What game was it you thought the ref was riding Clare and every single other poster said the opposite. You’re getting as bad as MBB for the repetitive cliché snipes. God knows theres enough we could be throwing at certain tipp players that goes unsaid. It’s a pity because you’re mostly not bad on hurling matters but choose to carry on like the other dickhead half the time.

Back of the line pal I said as much during the league. Dempsey is good in the air and we clearly had a plan to hit high ball in to him and Hegarty in the inside line in the first half. Thing is he was up against Murphy and was never going to pluck them out of the sky against him. Lads criticising him can go and fuck themselves. He tried hard and came off second best, he’ll be a serious player for us in the future.

Careful mate, you’ll be accused of taking this place too seriously by somebody who spends most of his life on here :grinning:

All the miserable fuckers around the county who thought we would be hammered out the gate, who were bigging Kilkenny up to be the greatest team we’ve ever seen, that Colin Fennelly would score 5 goals… they can all fuck right off.

And now all the people who are taking pride in a moral victory, that we tried hard and played well… they can all fuck off too.

We should have won the game yesterday, we have the ability within our ranks to do so and Kilkenny were not good. Not winning was a failure on behalf of the team & management; and I would presume that it is being viewed as such. I’m not calling for any heads or anything like that; it is an extremely young team with not a lot of experience and that does make an impact. But still, you need to grasp those chances when they arise.

You are right. But I think on the whole the display was heartening, we are going in the right direction and the building blocks of a good team for next year are there.

Thats rich coming for you mate but carry on.

That may seem to be true now; but how many times have we heard that before?

2001, 2007, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014…

What was very obvious last night was how our forwards gamely tried to close the KK backs down when coming out with the ball but were too light to stand up the player and ended up fouling the man in possesion, mind you plenty of times KK got the free out when they were over carrying and going to ground must have been at least 2 or 3 throw balls inside the KK HB line in the last 20 mins.

That’s fixable though
