Dublin are bad
It not all bad though, when youāve to plan towards 4 munster championship games in 5 weeks.
Like Offaly, Iād take a horrible one point win of any description on Saturday.
Dublin surely wonāt be as bad as theyāve been in the first two games.
Hard to see us posting up a big total with all the absentees.
Team is named, Gillane is starting.

Exactly, itās one thing trying out new players, itās another thing trying out new players without an experience around them.
Thereās been usually at least one change to the starting lineups this year so it wouldnāt surprise me to see Gillane not starting despite being named. Good to see Hego moved out from the corner at least anyways. Reidy getting a start encouraging as well.
He might have showed up to training so.
There is a chance that Gillane wonāt start. Iām naturally disappointed for Barry, I think heās done well so far if not in the most flamboyant of roles.
Murphy has done everything he right so far this year, heās a good player. Reidy similarly, just a natural forward. Not the same type of player as OāDonovan at all but a good player in his own right.
I would have liked to see Malachy get a start somewhere but canāt have everything
I think Malachi deserves a start at some stage, he has a great bit of cut about himself!!
Weāre going to waterboard them with piss and sliothars this Sunday.
Disappointed Malachy isnt getting a run out , hopefully he gets some game time. He has a great bit of cut to him.
2019 will be our year. 15 hip and whippers who all have a great cut about themā¦
2020 vision there.
Thereās a great bit of cut about that young fella from Nicker on the bench
Dubs game will be the last time weāll have to go for a piss in the dark at half timeā¦
Facelift for Limerickās Gaelic Grounds underway.
Jerome OāConnell.
ā¬200,000 to be spent on the Gaelic Grounds and Mick Neville Park upgrades
WORK has begun to āmoderniseā Limerickās Gaelic Grounds.
āIn terms of assets and facilities we will prioritise our focus on the Gaelic Grounds and Mick Neville Park as we advance into the future,ā confirmed Limerick GAA Munster Council delegate Paul Foley.
The Patrickswell man is the new chairman of the Gaelic Grounds committee.
Limerick have monies from a previous Munster Council grant to undertake the work in the Ennis Road venue and also in the Rathkeale facility ā it is understood that just over ā¬200,000 is available.
āIn prioritising Mick Neville Park and the Gaelic Grounds there will be short term, medium term and longer terms programmes of work to bring them up to the required standard,ā outlined Foley to this weekās February County Board meeting.
āWhen people come through the turnstiles we want them to know that this is a stadium that we are proud of,ā he said of the Gaelic Grounds.
A number of short term projects are underway.
āThe first step was re-letting the shop units under the Mackey Stand and a very advantageous agreement has emerged for Limerick GAA - the shops will now be re-let to a Spar franchise and they will be moving in this week and will be in position for the Dublin league game but the full upgraded fit-out wonāt be completed until rolled out the following week,ā outlined Foley.
He continued: āA full reconstruction and modernisation of the ladies and gents toilets on the Mackey Stand side befitting the hygiene standards expected in a modern stadium - that work has been progressed in terms of awarding the contract and will commence on the Monday after the Dublin game and completed over the following four to six weeksā.
All short term projects will be ready for the Munster SHC tie with Tipperary on May 20.
āRepainting the public areas, installation of imagery and graphics celebrating great moments in Limerick GAA with a new logo for the Gaelic Grounds itself to be designed as part of that,ā he said.
āDepending on how the naming rights evolve we will then look in a strategic way at medium term and longer term improvements to those facilities,ā explained Paul Foley where addressing the club delegates.
They should get the lads/lassies who run the bun operations up in BĆ³rd na MĆ³na OāConnor Park in for a bit of advice. Mighty tack.
Good to see somethingās happening anyways. An auld spell in 1A would be a big boost.
Thereās probably ā¬10k of the money gone anyway A fucking logo.
Will this affect the availability of cup of soup at half time do you know? Feel sorry for the small operators fucked out to make away for a spar
Theyāll all have to go back to their old jobs of robbing cars and selling drugs.
Big match experience wonāt be the same unless the sweets are stuck together by being left in the damp for months.
