Limerick GAA - it's Box Office - Always Has Been, Always Will Be

@TreatyStones thoughts??

Drom are a massive price as are Oola.

Not so sure about Drom, they’ve lost a few between Australia and retirements. Oola obviously won’t have they’re hurlers?

Yeah Id say thats a fair price on Drom based on what Ive been hearing…

Had heard Drom had lost players. Who’s missing?
Casey’s should beat Oola but there’s definitely a bit of juice in the price.

Senans, Monaleen, & NCW to win the others.

Stokes, Donnelly, Reidy retired. Not so sure about Ray Lynch, I doubt he’s been training anyway with him managing Regional in the soccer. They’ve 3 gone to Oz as well I think.

Michael Reidy is coaching Kierans.

Yep, hard to know what way they’ll be this year.

I wouldn’t be too confident of Caseys any day these days, distinctly average

Football in general is at a low ebb in Kerry.

That GAA Programme Collector page on Facebook had this up: 1984 league semi-final between Tipp & Limerick.

Quaid’s father in goals, Flanagan’s auld fella on the bench. Probably another couple of relations in there too.

Then the McGraths father at wing-forward. Think those two Bergins from Moycarkey-Borris are uncles of Kieran and I’m not sure whether Joe O’Dwyer from Killenaule is a relation of Bubbles.

Paddy Kelly scored 1-7, Big Joe got 1-1 and 1 point each for O’Donoghue & Rea. Before my time, but we had a great league that year, racked up some good wins but dumped out in the first round of Championship.

Was at that game

That’s a very odd appointment.

Uncle. An interesting character

Beary was involved with Na Piarsaigh as coach a few years back before he got involved with TJ

Aye I thought there was some very bad blood there.

Is Danny Fitzgerald a relation to Conor and stephen?

Nope. John is their ould fella. Played corner back/full back for Claughan.
They own the Centra? out in Fr Russel Road

Danny Fitz was a fine hurler for us in the 80s sadly taken far too soon. Gave an exhibition against Kerry in the 91 football final in Killarney if memory serves.
