They were woeful Friday night anyway. Full forward touching the scales at 22 stone I’d say!!
JBM was a big loss for Bally after picking up a virus in Thailand only coming on for a late cameo. St Pats were not at their best but with a couple of key forwards to add to the squad it might be a good battle with Oola for a Quarter Final spot.

You have to credit Tipperary’s work rate yesterday. Any coach should have a video for the forward unit of the work rate of Bonnar Maher, it should be the least every player gives. I think Tipp were done a kipper by Kelly yesterday, he put a saddle on them. Tipperary the better stick men and Galway the more physical unit. For what the game lacked in skill at times the endeavour was very good by both of the teams.
