Limerick GAA - it's Box Office - Always Has Been, Always Will Be

Heā€™s the man for it, with his experience of bullying heā€™d be great with kids

Disgraceful post.

Ballybrown-Patrickswell at 6pm on the 16th, Adare-Doon at 7.45pm. Double header in the Gaelic Grounds, both on TV.

Date ?

Should the Co Champs get top billing ?

Saturday 16th.

Football semis provisionally set for the 24th.

Oola worth a small bet at them odds?

PP think the other game is on tomorrow

Irish Wire Products Ltd County Senior Football Relegation Final
Ballysteen v Rathkeale 15/09 Newcastlewest 6.15pm

Sunset is 745pm that evening. One team will exit in the darkness.

I saw that last night.

Adare will win.

PP wont let you profit from the error.

Rathkeale are playing the West Junior A hurling final on the Sunday too.

Have the mushes any chance in the hurling ?

Are we expecting the 21s team to be named this evening?

They have a great chance, they beat feenagh in the group sure. That said they are poxed to have gotten that far. They got Glantine in the QF who were probably the only team worse than them and then pulled off that miracle vs Tour who made subs to give lads a run with ten left and they 9 up :grimacing:.
That said theyā€™ve fellas coming back all the time from the states and different things and are arguably a better team than earlier rounds so who knows.
As an aside Tour insisted the West board have a band brought in for the West Final (as was the tradition a while back) so confident were they of being in the final.
The whole area was gearing up for a throwback Kileedy vs Tour final which would have had a huge crowd at it. Pity the other lads never read the script

None of what I would have considered the three best teams in the West Monagea, Tour and Kileedy in the final. I could be wrong but I donā€™t think either of the two finalists have what it takes to win the county. I hope Iā€™m wrong because either Kieranā€™s or Knockaderry coming down next year so the West will be harder than ever

They wont win a county this year. Kilmallock & Pats look the strongest, while the East teams will take beating.

Knockaderry had the poorer results in the inter championship this year. If they go, you can see Kierans following them next year. That would be some West championship in 2019. The west board is secure for years to come.

Team GB going the wrong way as well, and Drom Broadford only clinging on.
Not long since we had 11 teams in the West, probably wonā€™t be waiting much longer either

Lynch and Hayes available for Limerick:
By Cian Oā€™Connell
Limerick manager Pat Donnelly has confirmed that Cian Lynch will be available for Saturdayā€™s Bord Gais Energy All Ireland Under 21 Hurling Final against Kilkenny at Semple Stadium.
Lynch was rated as an injury doubt with a hamstring issue, but Donnelly conformed that the talented Limerick attacker will be available.
ā€œWeā€™re considering that heā€™ll be fit for Saturday, he had picked up an injury, but weā€™ll be naming the team and Cian Lynch will be playing,ā€ Donnelly remarked at a press event ahead of the decider on Wednesday.
"Cian isnā€™t prone to injury at all. And I was just saying it there, a lot of the strength and conditioning work has eliminated a lot of the injuries that were there previously.
"You donā€™t see as many of them now. People think the strength and conditioning is about weights and bulking up but itā€™s actually about the prevention of injuries more than anything else.
ā€œWeā€™ve been very lucky all year that we havenā€™t had any injuries. Peter Casey had a dead leg, it can happen any day. But other than that we have been very lucky.ā€
Donnelly also stated that Kyle Hayes will be available for the clash too. ā€œHe had a slight straight up around the hamstring, high up, but thatā€™s 100 per cent gone,ā€ Donnelly said.
ā€œHeā€™s been more precaution over the last couple of weeks than anything else, but heā€™s trained Saturday and Tuesday night and heā€™s good to go.ā€

The addition of Moran to the Pats hurlers seems to have given them an extra edge to last year. No more football for them this year either. Obviously there is still soccer but if they knuckle down, I think they can go one better than last year, considering who else is left.

They were lucky enough to beat Templeglantine for a finish that night in the Quarters. Iā€™ve never seen anything like that finish to the Tour game
