I think itâs great that the limerick hurlers are being rewarded for a very good year with a holiday. Iâm sure if the footballers won a munster championship or made the super 8s theyâd be joining them

No real problem with a holiday or a few days off. If the hurlers deserve a holiday the footballers most certainly do too.

Thatâs my biggest problem. Itâs so offensive to the footballers, they put in just as much effort and made so many sacrifices during the year, yes they mightnât have gotten that far but they began training as early as the hurlers and letâs face it, the lack of resources and funding into the football hasnât helped them make progress anyway. They deserve a holiday away as well
