The Munster club hurling final is on the same day as Fenway Park, November 18th.
Going to be 40 stewards on duty tomorrow
Mulllane will step up tomorrow. Old heads tend to prosper in days like tomorrow.
The Road goals is the “scoring” goals in Drom.
You wouldn’t meet a sounder fella, he’s A1. If he leads Killeedy all the way I’ll be delighted for him, but I think Tournafulla will have learned a lot from the West Final. Knowing these clubs well, I know that there’d be a bit more grit and steel in the Tour boys, they’re a far better balanced team than Killeedy who rely more on their few excellent individual players (Aherne, Mullane, Flynn). The West defeat killed Tour, they were sick after it, it will spur them on. Tour will shade it imo.
The evergreen Patrick Cremin in midfield caused Tour a pile of trouble in the West Final, dropping deep to receive the pass out of defence and deliver to their danger men, his influence will be key tomorrow.
Cian Magner Flynn is out I’m hearing
Key local knowledge there, could be vital
There’s a very slight incline in the field.
Out drinking in town is it? The same fella could be…
Knee infection…
If that’s true it’s a serious blow to Killeedy, leaves Paudie Aherne as the sole man to mind and Tour will have more than enough to do that. Chris Moxey didn’t start West Final so I’d presume he’ll come straight in for him. A big quick physical lad too and no bad player for junior level
Young Begley will surprise a lot of ye tomorrow!
He won’t surprise me at all, I know all about him. A nice player but not nearly as much of a handful as Magner Flynn or even Moxey, unless he has improved again since earlier in the season when I last saw him play.
Saw him against the Well, got better as the game went on! Will find plenty space tomorrow. Drom is as big a field as is in the County.
Will there be a marching band tomorrow?
Johnny Murphy the referee for tomorrow
Will the Ballysteen lads be there to welcome him?
He may never again leave West Limerick if a certain faction of the West Limerick ‘river folk’ ambush him around the Bruff Line somewhere
