We’ll need Iron Mike to referee the thing .
I reckon he’d let the play develop.
He would apply a degree of common sense ok .
Bring it fucking on, we’ll take 'em.
He seemed to be intimidated by them today tbh, he was never ever going to send anyone off no matter what they did.
Had umpires alright, but only one linesman and on the opposite side to where the big row broke out. And it was Patsy Coffey, I think.
Nah, there were no supporters on the pitch, just a bit of aggro. Mild abuse being thrown around but no scuffles or anything.
“We’ll fight any man”
Didn’t fancy a Sunday evening in the boot of a car
Pallas will do as Pallas do. It is in the dna.
NaP were good yesterday - way too much fire power for the rest… Who got sent off at the end for them? WOD is an animal. The Well badly missed Lynch, obviously.
Kilmallock were piss, Doon threw their cap at them and that was that.
Has the draw been done for the county semi’s in Junior A? Do the Westies have to avoid each other or anything?
Lovely. Should be two cracking games, very hard to call a winner now. Kilmallock were the favs for me. Doon are some club
They’ll be coming from all over for a Tour v Killeedy county final.
It would be absolute box office. It’s one all between them in championship this year so delicately poised.
Doon, Kilmallock match was poor enough. Which team started with the sweeper? I presume it was Doon.
English was cleaning up inside and Kilmallock couldn’t take any long range points.
I still presume Kilmallock and the Well will come through. But who plays who? Open draw I presume.
Doon CBS primary school at the heart of what they achieve. I’d say it’s the only primary school that has its own purpose built (as in not a gable end of a building) hurling wall.
Aye, fair play to Doon. Three teams, all in semi-finals.
I’m no expert on population stats but as far as I know, the only other clubs who field 3 hurling teams are NaP, Mungret & Monaleen, who would have significantly more players available.
Tournafulla won the West Junior B as well as getting to the Junior A final, not bad going either for a club who have struggled with emigration, etc in recent years.
Junior A standard full back, Peter Harty still starting corner forward he’s actually decent but he’s 31 and too slow. Kirby has lost his way and isn’t getting enough out of the 3 county lads.
