Limerick GAA, Still Getting Knocked Down

A couple of lads with a guitar and bodhran

Well said.

On the subject of Mulcahy, I think he’s class. I really do.

But corner-forwards for Limerick in recent times have been absolutely fucked over. In any other county, the likes of Mulcahy & Tobin would be getting much better service and would look like better players. Not a single decent ball went towards Mulcahy on Saturday and that’s been the case on a regular basis. It’s a testament to his ability the amount he has managed to score despite that. He wins ball he has no right to win at times, but you can’t expect that all the time.

Nash did better in his corner, but he was pulling out the field a bit more and was getting on the end of broken ball from puckouts. He’s physically stronger too. But it would seem that he is the type of player we’d have to play in the corner to get anything out of them- big, strong lads like Nash or Morrissey or Downes. Mulcahy may be more skilful than them (or maybe not), but he’s not suited to the way we’re playing currently. If he got the ball one-on-one with his man, he’d get scores.

I just hope by the time Peter Casey makes the senior panel, that we have a bit more adaptability.

It won’t end well. He’s a liability.

A tipp roaster with a mad head. Was a savage player.

The Liberties boys aren’t messing around. No mention of who’ll be cutting the grass?

What’s Stephen McDonagh at this year?

calving cows.

You’d imagine they’d ask Lukasz Kirszenstein to do it.

Mark Foley and Ciaran not involved with anyone in the county this year then? Though they are with Kerry are they?

There was a big fall out in the well.

Go on tell us what you know or pm me the details.
