Itās in the club history, 1908, 1909 and 1916. An old Sheares Street neighbour of ours was on the 1916 team Tommy OāConnor. So was another Sheares Street man, Sean Moylan. PD Mehigan/Carbery was on it as well.

Iāve decided what the Limerick squad should be for championship. Iāve gone with a 31 man squad. This is my choice but I didnāt include the likes of tom ryan or alan dempsey who are not a part of Teeges plans.

You cant do that. You only have 15 of last yearās 21s included including two subs. What about the remaining pair? An injury and football are not good enough excuses to exclude them.
It seems like a lot but a good few of them should have been on the panel last year instead of deadwood like T. O Brien, C. Allis, P. Begley etc.

If byrnes cb then solidity beside him. Wayne at 5 (i know people say different but he is no nonsence but seanie is an option) otherwise lynch. Hannon needs to play loose he wont do it orthodox hf, roaming cf if in hf line but cians best deep too so lots of options. I never likefd hannon ff but if we have a plan where he is rotating with other forwards it could work. The key imo is getting a pattern of forward play (smilar to tipp, galway and kk)
Hickey will ve picked but his place on 1st 15 should not be a certainty imo. What id like to see

No nonsense approach getting rid of P OāBrien and Tobin. I think the latter is unlucky as for Murroe Boher I have seen him play unreal and carry that team. I think he is not a corner forward of IC standard but he could have been given a chance out the field picking up lose ball. I suppose we canāt have everyone looking for loose ball though as thereās already a few like that.
No two reidys from drom a. Dave is a very good hurler been on the panel the last couple of seasons alright. His older brother mike is a brilliant hurler and was good for the intermediates last year.
Yes my panel is a mix of a few ball winners and loose types.
