Limerick GAA, Still Getting Knocked Down

Teej main aim here is staying on as manager. That is all.

You know the league is going to be a completely different set up next year, going back to more teams in a true div 1 meaning Limerick, Clare Wexford and another will be up there no matter what?

I didn’t hear that, if so that would be great for all 3 counties.

Have you a link pal, or are you spoofing?

This is the last year of the current set up and all the counties bar Tipp want an 8/10 team division 1

Bingo.

All the counties have wanted that for awhile pal, the only guarantee for us is to beat Clare next Sunday.

6-27 to 1-11

No good for either team @Esso_Oil

We’d want to be getting the 30th point here or we are at nothing this year.

@myboyblue what’s happened ye mate. While never world beaters yeve been competitive the last few years. I suppose it’s hard to keep it going when your in that limbo land of too good for Christy Ring not good enough for championship.

5 of the 6 backs retired last year mate. He’s having to blood chaps, it was never gonna be pretty but that was gruesome. Didn’t help that Limerick had to go for a big win either naturally.

All ticket next Sunday?

Sounds like Limerick could lose on aggregate tonight, Heslin is different class

Is it true they didn’t even line the 45 for the footballers ?

Mother of sweet divine Jesus.

Two matches that would turn people off GAA for life.

Absolutely nothing learned from the hurling. Pointless to read into anything into it whatsoever. Laois were beyond atrocious. Sad to see them so terribly bad.

Their ineptitude was only matched by that of the Limerick footballers. Quite possibly the worst display I have ever seen from any team in any sport. Ever. The only players to emerge with any small shred of credit were Sean O’Dea, Cian Sheehan and - after their introduction - Stephen Cahill and Peter Nash. Once Seanie Buckley hobbled off early on were a rabble. Most half decent club sides would have beaten us tonight.

As if we needed to be told we are now back to the dark old days of being division four basement dwellers and also rans. We won’t get promoted next year or be anywhere near the top of the table.

The only positive is if we have London away in the league in 2017 and I’d get a session in Camden the night before the match in Ruislip the next day.

I’ll need a skinful to tolerate watching them.
