Will be watching on GAAGo at an ungodly hour of the morning. Looking forward to a historic Limerick-Mayo Croker double.
Has a Limerick team won a final in Croke Park in any grade since the seniors in 1973? Would be a big boost for Limerick hurling if Na Piarsaigh win tomorrow.
Blackrock won the Junior club championship there in 2010.
The junior camogie team under Joe Quaid was the last time any Limerick captain has climbed the Hogan stand. Prior to that was 73
I was nearly caught out, I knew Limerick won a minor in the 80s but it was centenary year.
I was at that game as well.
Must be true so is it, no final win in Croker since 73
Yes, I was at the 1984 final in Thurles as well. I remember the minor finished in a draw and Limerick won the replay. Actually, where was that replay played?
Thurles probably
Thurles is correct. 2-5 to 2-4
Not technically correct
Thanks for all the best wishes lads…we’ll do our best.
Two trains full of supporters, good weather forecast, no injuries to report, happy days!
I’m not judging, just asking. His place is with his team not with his master at the gee gees imo, but you are right. He has every entitlement to go there.
All the best pal. Hope ye do it
Thanks Mouse. We nearly did it. I think we will regret it for a long time. Had them rattled but did not keep composure in possession for the last 10 mins.
FUCK IT anyway
Wont be on until late tomorrow with Cheltenham so the very best of luck to Na Piarsaigh in this final, break that fuckin hoodoo lads.
Tweeness overload on this thread tonight.
Go NaP! Do it for Limerick!
As my mate @ChocolateMice eloquently put it the big 4 is very much still on pal.
We could well have 2 in the bag by 4 clock tomorrow afternoon.
Watch grumpy balls off again boo hooo the Wexford chaps didn’t make it.
Nice piece from the examiner
Good night all.
Off to Croker in the morning to cheer a limerick team, hopefully to an AI. Will drink in the big tree beforehand for that authentic limerick experience of jones road.
Is anyone else other than @habanerocat going to the game?
I’d love to go mate, but have family & mass commitments early on tomorrow to attend to.
Will be in Ennis on Sunday though.
Will head for Patsi’s just in time for throw in, parade be well over by then.
