Limerick GAA, Still Getting Knocked Down

@iron_mike and @glas

On the 9.45am train up.

If Leave at Dawn wins The Pertemps you’ll hear my roars from the plush surroundings of one of the executive boxes in Croke Park where I’ve kindly been gifted a couple of freebies.

Great day of sport ahead.

You didn’t bother your arse to go and cheer us last year though!

Great day here in Croke Park.

Looks like yet another All Ireland hurling title heading back home to Limerick

:+1:

Congrats Na Piarsiagh, made history today for a Limerick club.

Savage achievement, absolutely delighted.

Na Piarsaigh now think they know it all and that Shane O Neill will be Limerick manager on Sunday evening

Teeje will win in Ennis without the Na Piarsaigh players and that sorts that out

Nap were fucking brilliant. I knew they were going to win but that was an unreal display. There’s serious ic talent there. 4 or 5 others there that should make it . Herb and glas congrats

Don’t give him air, pal.

There won’t be a cow milked in Limerick city tonight😉

More less a complete standout team bar if you were to be extra picky and a cunt maybe Kennedy at 4 and the keeper.

Cathal King did a great job with the speech after as well, just watched the game back awhile ago.

His use of the Irish language was a joy to behold, mixed intermittently with a bit of English.

Dowling made a bit of an ape of himself but you could forgive him for that with the raw emotion etc.

That was very nicely done alright and very well received.

Ronan Lynch did something similar after winning a motm against Clare in the u21 MF last year.

That whole panel are very articulate well educated lads. Great to see such great ambassadors for Limerick.

What did Dowling do, pal? I had an errand to run between the two games so switched off after King’s speech.
