He blew the bloody whistle to award the deserved free in. Then proceeded to let Conlon play on for a second or two and finish it. Once you blow the whistle give the free. Making it up as he went along.
As you say he wasnât the reason we lost but he was brutal (gave a few bad decisions against Clare too in fairness).
Never rated him as a ref since his complicity in fucking us over in the Hawkeye debacle in 2013.
Would agree with most of your player ratings too. Browne was a force of nature and is now our best and most consistent player. Smashing player.
We are a mess in every other line of the team. Apes screaming that we will be ok once the Na Piarsaigh lads are back - at a stretch maybe two of them will be starting in the championship IMO. Anyway we could have Houlihan, Carey, Kirby, Reale, Ollie Moran, Joe McKenna and Dodge to return but it would make no difference under this farcical management set up.
Itâs probably worse than the fiasco Justin McCarthy presided over, aided and abetted by the CB stooges.

There were also 2 umpires standing only a few feet away, they did not award the goal but then the referee went up to the umpire and told him to wave the green flag 
With that referee yesterday, it appears there was no way he was going to have Limerick win that match.
The refereeing panel needs to review the game and consider appropriate actions with respect to the referee and umpires.
Croker or Parnell?
We have ye next in Dublin. We will have our All Ireland champions back in the panel so should fare better.

Nash should start but not a cert.
Hickey & Gavin will probably get in somewhere.
T. Morrissey is borderline
Mulcahy, Condon, Fitzgibbon, D. Morrissey and probably Ritchie arenât good enough.
The pieces are there (with the NAP boys coming in and the likes of the two Ryans & OâDonovan, Seanie OâBrien on the bench) to patch together most of the team, but I donât know what we are going to do with full back line or centre back.

It was probable unsportsmanlike behaviour by the Clare number 10 (you cannot take 15 steps) and incompetence from the officials that cost TJ and Limerick the victory.
Limerick will be in Division 1a in 2017. Whatâs your point ?

Yesterday couldnât have worked out better.
Limerick - the writing is on the wall and the management decks will be cleared maybe not before championship this year but the end of this era is now over. the worst thing that could have happened is that we won and ended up giving the current regime another 3 years.
Clare - stuck with the current manager for another few years. They are world beaters in Ennis but he is well on the way to completely fucking up as talented a team that ever came out of Munster.
In many ways the current management teams of both counties are living off the glories of others work.
Teege inherited a team that had John Allenâs game plan ingrained in them. This got them to an AI semi display against Kilkenny before the WHAK IT game plan took over.
Davy inherited an excellent U21 side whose work ethic and clarity of purpose took them to an AI Senior title. As soon as Davyâs paranoia took over his âtacticsâ froze this young team.
Limerick will need to regroup for next year - Indeed the worst thing that might happen is that the Na Piarsaig contingent come back and ârescueâ the league by beating the Dubs.
