Limerick GAA, Still Getting Knocked Down

Askeaton 2-12
Adare 2-10

Ahane 1-22 Bruff 0-8. Big win for Kilfinane as well in the intermediate.

Premier intermediate hurling championship round four result - Blackrock 3-16 Granagh/Ballingarry 1-14.

Three first half goals did the damage for the Kilfinane boys as they surged into a 13 point lead, Dylan Dawson with the pick of them as he gathered a high ball in, turned and lashed home.

Gutsy effort from Team G/B as they narrowed the gap to six on a couple of occasions in the second half but Blackrock were worth the victory.

Did you call into the local?

Didn’t bother. Wasn’t in the mood after the result.

Did you see that iron mike and the smoking area issue was back in court again during the week… You’d think those health and safety types would have far more pressing things to be focusing on elsewhere.

Harrassment.

H’on Blackrock. We’re motoring now.

@dodgy_keeper how did Moloney, Richie and Dawson go?

What’s the Kilfinnane connection buddy? I thought you were a Northsider?

Maloney - very good
Richie - average
Dawson - impressive in patches. Is he on the u21 panel?

Not sure… Moloney should be on the senior panel at least…I thought he was good when ever he played but Allen didn’t like him and he never got a look again.

He’s had a bizarre career last start v dubs in 2012?

I’ve Dromcollogher, Castelbar, Thomondgate and Parteen heritage, pal. Makes sense I’d go with Blackrock.

Yeah…maybe not being senior club hasn’t helped but he’s worth a place on the panel at least.

He done well anytime he was given a chance. There wasn’t much between Walsh him or condon.

I’d rate him better than Walsh but not as tough as Condon. Just the way it falls for some lads.

Did Donovan feature at all during the league?

Bar Concrete and Browne it’s a very young and inexperienced defence and midfield.

Surely Cillian Fahy would be worth a start…?

He did. Fahy has been injured for ages.

Gary Brennan will eat our midfield alive if Buckley isn’t played there!!!
