A moral victory It’s the foundation of Limerick Gaa
I hope ye batter the shit out of them. Them and their horrible Wexford jerseys.

Same all over in fairness. Club players getting shafted is a national pass time
The problem would be solved if there was no gaelic football in Limerick.
That game is off tonight. Cappagh on the piss all week.
County Minor B Final result -
Old Christians/Claughaun 2-14 Granagh/Ballingarry/Rathkeale 2-11.
Splendid game of hurling on a day more suited to the middle of June. The city boys were full value for it. A win that meant a hell of a lot to them. Something like the first time in 30 years they’ve won a county title at this grade. They were hit for 1-03 in a row in the middle of the second half that levelled it up but they were the better side all through and finished much stronger.
Huge boost for the sport in that part of town. Would be great if they could push on now and bring through a few more teams. Couple of promising lads on both teams that we might hear and see a bit more of down the line.
There’s work going into Old Christians and Ballinacurra but it’s tough with soccer and rugby being so big in the area.
That is the a final.
+1 absolutely fantastic result , hope they can keep those young lads together.
I’d love to see them kick on, they’ve a lovely pitch there in Rathbane. A club that’s been through hard times.
There is no Claire thread. No-one would be interested in it anyway. Joe has to infest this one with his meanderings.
On a side note, the amalgamation of clubs across Limerick seems to be at record levels. Very worrying for me and I’d put the blame at computer games rather then other codes.
I sound like an auld cunt like @Smark but reckon its true.
Pity there is nothing been done north of the Shannon, other then Na Piarsiagh there isn’t any GAA club across a massive section of the city. St Pats do get the odd young lad from Corbally but the rest of the area over to Caherdavin is barren as fuck.
Incorrect amalgamations are good for clubs that are weaker. No point in having Christians and claughann playing 13 a side better for them to be playing at a higher standard.
What problem? Why do people who claim to be followers of Gaelic games constantly bemoan anything other than the one they follow? This is the fucked up mentality that has Limerick GAA in the state that it is in. Even the useless CB officers feel safe when they condemn football.

I was joking I love football.
This is what needs to happen in Limerick: http://www.irishexaminer.com/sport/gaa/football/saffron-vision-bid-to-oust-antrim-board-361969.html
I heard a similar tactic being discussed on West Limerick Radio some years ago.
It has never worked for my own club, hurling or football for that matter is about playing with the lads you grew up with around you from primary school. I’d prefer a 13 a side competition then playing with some cunts that I grew up despising.

If lads are competing at a higher level its only good for them and Limerick.
