Limerick GAA - knocked down, but will get up again

There is no chance in hell of the B group teams winning either of those matches

Beefy in goal for Blackrock?

He was yeah, but look he still has plenty to offer at this level.

I would never intentionally burn a player for the sake of it, but your first team has to take priority at the same time.

Feoghanagh won 10 to 8.

Brilliant afternoon down at the club as the cup was joyously welcomed.

Well done to the organising committee for a fine set up. Free BBQ, cakes, tea and coffeee and a blitz for the kids between hurling, camogie and Gaelic football. Blessed with the weather too.

The cup is actually heavier than you’d think!

Fair play to Tom Condon and Declan Hannon for taking the time to arrive on, the captain especially who came straight out after playing a bruising club match.

Took the plunge and booked those flights in November too.

Shipping up to Boston oh oh oh :ronnyroar: :pint:

I think Garvey now qualifies for an MME award ( member of the McManus Empire ) he’ll be summoned up to the big house soon, he’ll put on a green blazer ( fashionable circa 1997) and get a medal and a 32” hurley touched on either shoulder by Lady Noreeen and maybe if he’s lucky Lord Jp might be in residence ( might have to leave if the revenue commissioners are watching) and he can get to have afternoon tea with him.

Dead fucking right mate.

In a few years that wont even be remembered. All the stories will revolve around him and Cian Lynch ripping it up in South Boston.

When the legend becomes fact, print the legend

Probably won’t even make Fenway Park, will go full roaster and set up base camp in McGettigans or some other kip Oirish bar for a few days.

He’ll be laying down the law below in Murphys for the week I’d say.

You’d feel sorry for John Kiely really. Fully professional set up all year and then he gets to Novemebr and has some yahoo hanging off of him bending his ear about how great he is and how Dodge was a great bit of stuff wasn’t he, wasn’t he???

At this stage you would hope a certain sanity will eventually prevail and they start bringing it to pubs .

There was a tasty enough scrap at the end of the Bruff vs Pallasgreen game out in Hospital. Game had been fairly tight all the way through, Pallasgreen leading at half-time, but Bruff started to edge clear in the final 10 minutes and things started getting a bit testy.

Ref had been very lenient throughout and tbh seemed to have lost control by the end. I’d say there was at least 4 or 5 red card offences between striking, ripping helmets off, dropping sneaky knees into fellas on the ground.

It had just died down and the ref threw the ball in in the exact same place, a few fellas pulled wildly at it and it all started again :joy:

Went on for about 5 mins, I’d say. A Bruff selector came in and give Malachy the butt of the hurley into the ribs and a few fellas completely lost the plot then. One Bruff player had blood streaming down his face, didn’t see what happened to him.

Started getting a bit feisty in the crowd, people roaring at each other, the whole lot.

Bruff were the better team though, Paul O’Riordan was very good for them in attack as was Chris Browne. Pallasgreen physical, great battlers, fought for everything but just couldn’t get the scores against the wind.

Fucking Pallasgreen never fail to disappoint.

It’ll be nice to see Davy and Wexford win some silverware.

I checked the fixture. He would be one of the better refs and would have a team of umpires with him.

I guess the Pallas crowd did not get on to the pitch?
