Limerick GAA - We get knocked down šŸ

it was nawtin. tipp blocked it & were clearing it whe it was blown up

60mins were played so rule book satisfiedā€¦end of story :cold_sweat:

to you that would be a c**thole which won senoior & minor Munster today & the football qualifier today.

Fill me in nowā€¦what have you won??? :joy:

Met a good few of them out on Sat night in KK, they have had the last week off after the Leinster Finalā€¦ Apparently its standard fareā€¦ A week or twos break then train like fuck for 3-4 weeks until the AISF

Bullshit. No way is there more than one Henry in Limerick.

Saturday was a blessing in disguise. Had we pulled it off we would now be playing Waterford whose work rate would have made sure we were fu ked after 10 minutes. We were nowhere near last years level. Sit back lick the wounds. Hopefully the minors can do something through the back door and weā€™ll see the u21s this week.
As regards a change in management, I donā€™t know. Still too raw.

Henry still hasnā€™t forgiven me for the ball-hopping on hereā€¦ He has me blocked from all his social media accountsā€¦ @South_Limerick_Refer canā€™t we just be friends?

How was the stag?

Minors playing Galway at 12 in Thurles before the senior hurling quarter finals.

thought we prepared well. I thought we did a good job on Dublin. But we made changes and if you win theyā€™re great but if you donā€™t everyone questions everything. Thatā€™s just the nature of it.ā€

Wouldnā€™t fill you with faith that he could turn is aroundā€¦

Stag was great crack in fairness. Galway is a great city. Wasnā€™t too disappointed going down. We were not goid enough to be anyway near croker this year

Either not fit enough or overtrained. Havenā€™t made my mind up about that yet. I know where Iā€™d lay the blame and itā€™s not all at Tjs door but the buck does stop at him if he didnā€™t have the balls to call a halt to the flogging

We werenā€™t playing well enough. Whether we may have been good enough if properly prepared is another question altogetherā€¦

Your bad :grinning:

Iā€™m not sure itā€™s either. We donā€™t look a cohesive team at all. We donā€™t appear to have any system or style of play, particularly up front. Add to that lots of questionable selections, positional placements and substitutions and it doesnā€™t look like a fitness issue, it looks like a team thatā€™s clueless as to what itā€™s supposed to be doing.

Iā€™ll tell you what TJā€™s right hand man said going into the Clare gameā€¦ He believed that if Clare had a full selection they would probably beat us, but the fact they are missing a few gives us a chanceā€¦ Now, while this may or may not be true I thought it was a bizarre frame of mind to have going into, not only this game, but the season as a whole after last year. Clare have proved they are nothing special and for a member of management to express that - then add in the wild celebrations at the full time whistle - and it is clear these guys are out of their depth. And I know he said that for a fact ā€¦ I was left reeling when I heard it, we may not be the greatest team in the land but on our day and prepared right we can rattle anyone and certainly have nothing to fear from anyone in Munster but when your management entered the season with that mentality you can forget about it.

So can we

That I agree with. Lynch won three or four balls and made a few runs. Absolutely noone running off him for support. Thatā€™s just one example. I mean we didnā€™t even use Downes right in terms of his ability to lay off ball.
Overall we were jaded looking.

Seems to a lot less negativity here comared to the CH website where theyā€™re taking ther beating fierce hard
