Look at Clareās collapse after their Limerick coach left them Joe. Yeāre fucked.
Need i say more. limerick have great men
Been very busy for a few weeks but Limerick never fails to provide us with something to talk about. The gift that keeps on giving.
The days of the Politically Motivated Understudy are numbered with the appointment of Daly. The first slip up will see the golden boy sacrificed on the treasurers altar. Personally I canāt wait to see it.
Then we have the spat between Mann and the back page. Mann couldnāt confront him at a meeting because unless its written down in front of him he canāt do a thing.
The failed salesman bemoaning the state of football when he openly despises the game.
2015 will be another epic year for Limerick politics, canāt wait.
Happy Christmas everyone.
Ahane win the Minor Hurling premier by a single point. Could have gone either way maybe, with extra time looking certain, but Ahane held their nerve better and threw over a careless 65 in the last minute to claim victory.
Good second half. A pity either team had to lose. Na P looked dead until Casey took control of the game and dragged them back into it. He is a great bit of stuff. Ref was very erratic. Lynch should have had a free at the end before he handpassed the ball and the ref then gave a soft free to Ahane. Very good ahane team, good to see them win I guess, itās been a while.
Fair assessment. Thought extra-time was on the cards but the Ahane corner-forward put great pressure on the Na Piarsaigh goalie to force the 65 that won it. Tom Morrissey scored all but one point of Ahaneās total.
Casey, as you said, was excellent but what were Na P doing with him in the middle of the field driving the ball into where he should have been himself? Thought it was a bizarre move putting Ronan Lynch in at full forward when they needed him on the ball further out.
What went on at the presentation at the end? Never saw a cup given out from there before and couldnāt hear what was going on?
Who was centre forward for NAP today? Did you get a programme?

They were switching players about all match, far too much I thought. That switch was probably a good move though, the game was passing lynch by at midfield and Casey hadnāt been on enough ball. Conor hooligan was excellent for Na P too. I didnāt hang around for the presentation to be honest.
On paper it was Kieran Daly. But as said above neither teams held position. Both teams played sweepers against the wind and scoring was low. Neither full forward line saw much if any ball and putting Ronan Lynch in full for most of the second half was a gamble that didnāt pay off. Ahane were snappier hurlers, three steps and the ball was gone. Na Piarsaigh held onto it and were at the mercy of the referee most of the time.
Utter farce at a limerick Ul challenge. Limerick turned up with the bare 15. Wing back got injured so they played to half time with 14 and then took a Ul player back to make up 15 for the second half.
