I could understand not having them on the panel early in the year as we couldn’t play them anyway, so we might as well give a go to the likes of Breen & Begley. But English is probably the best backup option to Richie in the long-term, and I’d agree that Donovan is better than a few players on the panel already. Whether he’s ready or not, I’m unsure, but I’m not sure Begley & Fitzgibbon are ready either.
